We are proud to announce that Linqia has won 2016 Gold Stevie® Awards in three categories, including 2016 Company of the Year and PR Campaign of the Year in the Multicultural and Social Media categories. Linqia was also awarded Silver Stevie Awards for Female Entrepreneur of the Year and PR Campaign of the Year in the Consumer Services category.
The 13th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business honors and recognizes the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run. Over 1,400 nominations from organizations worldwide were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories. Linqia was one of five companies to be awarded a Grand Stevie Award, recognizing the elite group of businesses for winning the most awards in the 2016 competition.
Linqia was named 2016 Company of the Year after demonstrating its second year of consecutive profitability while sustaining 150% year over year growth. Maria Sipka, Linqia’s co-founder and chief evangelist, was also awarded a Silver Stevie Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year based on her role in developing and growing Linqia’s unique performance-based business model, which boasts a 93% retention rate and serves over 200 leading national brands.
Linqia’s influencer marketing programs won awards in the following marketing and communications categories:
- Gold for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Multicultural (with brand partner Herdez): Herdez, a brand of authentic Mexican food products, teamed up with Linqia influencers to raise brand awareness by highlighting Las Posadas, a 9-day Mexican Christmas tradition. Influencer content resulted in 487% more engagement than the program goal, delivering 44% above the guaranteed traffic goal to Herdez landing pages. For more information about the Las Posadas program, check out the Herdez customer case study.
- Gold for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Social Media Focused (with brand partner NBC): Recognizing that display ads lacked the real estate to tell a compelling story about their TV Everywhere service, NBC partnered with Linqia to reach cord-cutters across the US. Linqia’s influencer marketing program reached over 20 million people, delivering more than 62,000 visits to the NBC TV Everywhere landing page. For more information about the TV Everywhere program, check out the NBC customer case study.
- Silver for Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Consumer Services (with brand partners Dollar General and Scott® Paper Company): In this shopper marketing initiative, Linqia influencers created nearly 5,000 pieces of original content – 665% more than anticipated – over a three week period, driving audiences to download the Dollar General app to redeem Scott coupons in-store.
