Albertsons wanted to break through in a sea of sameness in the grocery space to build a social presence for its Own Brands and connect with key audiences.
Strategy
So we devised a 4-pillared creator led social media strategy:
- We tapped nano-micro creators to create content for the Instagram handles at scale.
- We identified macro-mega creators with consistently high engagement. We partnered with them, leveraging giveaways and collab posting, to acquire more followers for the Own Brands accounts.
- We implemented ongoing community management and worked with yet more creators to create reactive content related to timely trends.
- We partnered with the perfect celebrity, Tia Mowry, to drive excitement and buzz for the launch of the Overjoyed brand.
RESULTS
In less than two years, we worked with over 75 creators, launched 15 campaigns, ran 15 giveaways, gained 18K+ Instagram followers across handles and delivered engagement rates as high as 30%, proving creators can drive brand social strategies.
