Victoria at Work

Q: What is your position and how long have you been at Linqia?

A: I’m a Lead Brand Partner, covering the west coast, and have been here since Jan 2019.

Q: Tell me about your role.

A: I work with clients and prospective clients to put together strategic influencer programs to meet their brand objectives.

Q: Describe Linqia with one word

A: Festive!

Q: What does your average day look like?

A: I spend a lot of time presenting our offering, working with clients on proposals, and ensuring current campaigns are running smoothly. Most days, I’m trying to juggle all this while driving around the busy streets of LA meeting new and familiar faces!

Q: What’s your favorite part of your job?

A: The people I work with.

Q: Why do you think influencer marketing is so important?

A: Real people tell the best brand stories, and the proof is in the pudding! We are seeing tremendous results not only in social actions, but in purchase intent and brand perception.

Q: What is Linqia’s culture like?

A: Everyone on the team is so different, but somehow we all make sense together! The people are the reason I took this job!

Q: What’s your favorite part of your day at Linqia?

A: I love that I have flexibility to be able to put my daughter to bed every night. Even on my busiest days, I still get to be there to sing her songs and kiss her goodnight. I might hop back on the computer some nights, but knowing that I can be present and be a good mom, while still doing great work, is really meaningful.

Q: What are your favorite core values and why?

A: Be Human. I’ve worked for far too many companies that forget this very simple element. It’s really refreshing to work with people that are real, and really care. No egos or politics.

Q: Why did you choose to work at a startup?

A: I’ve always been drawn to startups, they excite me! I love a challenge and moving fast. I like feeling like I make an impact and matter to the overall mission.
