For our next edition of Who’s That Linqian, we sat down with our Brand Success Manager in San Francisco, Veronica Lee!

Q: What’s your position and how long have you been at Linqia? 

A: I’ve been a Brand Success Manager here at Linqia for 8 months and counting!

Q: Tell me about your role.

A: My role is all about connecting audiences to brands using the power of storytelling through influencers. From these stories, I’m able to identify trends in narratives, performance, and audience reception into actionable insights for brands.

Q: Describe Linqia with one word.

A: Performance

Q: What’s your favorite core value and why?

A: Tough one — it’s got to be Great Experiences!

Our team strives to create great experiences not only with the brands that work with us, but also with our incredible content creators and the internal team at Linqia!

Q: What’s your favorite part of your day?

A: Creating valuable insights and developing creative strategies for activations!

Q: Why do you think influencer marketing is so important?

A: Influencers are able to harness the power of authentic storytelling, to connect with audiences in a unique and personal way. From the performance of influencer content, brands are able to take away actionable insights by understanding why people are engaging with your brand, how they’re doing it, and on what platforms.

Q: What is Linqia’s culture like?

A: We are the influencers of our own workplace — sharing our knowledge with others and learning from each others’ experiences and expertise. Also, we get shit done and make shit happen!

Q: Why do you work at a startup?

A: I love that we move fast, learn from our mistakes, and optimize!

Q: What are you passionate about outside of work?

A: I love digital art and its incredible ability to replicate and manipulate real-life textures.

Q: Hidden talent?

A: If hip-hop / urban dance choreo counts 😉

Q: What would you like to be famous for?

A: Not sure about famous, but I’d love to be someone else’s fashion inspiration someday!

Q: Ping pong or foosball? And which Linqian would you like to challenge?

A: I would be a foo not to pick foosball — I’d challenge Melanie and Cody for a rematch 🙂
