  • Featured Influencer Campaign: The new wine-in-a-can company HUN launched The #HUNdred Society campaign on Instagram with 10 influencers across a wide variety of audiences. They ran giveaways of their newly launched cans through the influencers and awarded cases of their product to the first HUNdred winners. Exclusivity goes a long way in giveaways and competitions through influencers!
  • A fitness challenge started at the beginning of quarantine is back with the new name 10 for 10 Challenge. Users across Instagram are challenging their friends and families to a 10 push-up or 10 sit-up challenge on Stories and Posts.
  • Brands and users alike have been posting new Instagram Reels content, with a good portion of those videos being reposted directly from their TikTok videos. It seems that brands and users may be still testing the waters with Reels, and waiting for ads, more prominence, and structure to be available – it’s still early days!

  • #FitCheck is the newest fashion trend on TikTok, calling for users to share their best summer outfits, or “fits”. Whether you’re rocking your favorite brand, or showing off your own style, let’s see your fit!
  • A hilarious new pet challenge is going around and it’s called #SmallBite! Users across the globe are getting their pets on camera, showing them a food item, and instructing them sternly that they can only take one small bite. The results are hysterical!
  • #ChoresInThisHouse has families creating hilarious videos based around all the chores they’ve been doing inside this summer, while singing along to the accompanied song. A good old classic TikTok song to get stuck in your head while cleaning!

  • TikTok has announced that they’ll be taking legal action against the US government over the attempts to ban their app in the US.
