Top Influencer Marketing Trends from Q1 2024

Every quarter we look at campaign data across all Linqia influencer/creator activations, and compare that to the same period last year to identify key industry trends. This year, that data demonstrates four interesting trends. 

➡️ Brands are doubling down on their influencer marketing investments – we’ve seen a 65% increase in campaigns year over year. 

➡️ CGC (creator generated content) campaigns are getting increasingly popular – Linqia executed 100% more (2x) the number of CGC campaigns in Q1 2024 vs. Q1 2023. 

➡️ Paid media is a critical component of campaigns – In Q1, 50% of influencer marketing budgets on average are going to media amplification. 

➡️ TikTok is playing an even bigger role despite ban talks – 68% of campaigns in Q1 included a TikTok component (up from 53% in Q1 2023)
