Linqia Appoints Bill Sloan as National Director of Shopper Marketing

Former Geometry Global Executive to Drive Shopper Marketing Strategy for Influencer Marketing Leader

We are excited to share that Linqia has appointed Bill Sloan as our new National Director of Shopper Marketing. Bill joins Linqia from Geometry Global, where he served as SVP of Business Development and led Team Unilever Shopper. Bill brings over 20 years of experience leading shopper marketing strategy for top CPG brands to Linqia, which he will leverage to accelerate growth for our shopper marketing division.

As National Director of Shopper Marketing, Sloan is responsible for creating and executing Linqia’s shopper influencer marketing business across a variety of retailers, categories, and disciplines. He will have a strong focus on accelerating client growth while developing strategic shopper influencer marketing solutions and expanding into new markets.

As Senior Vice President of Business Development for Geometry Global, Bill was responsible for the Walmart Retail Center of Excellence, inter-agency business acquisition, market penetration, strategic partnership evaluation, and relationship development. He also spent time as Senior Vice President for Team Unilever Shopper where he led an inter-agency team of more than 30 to create growth-driven shopper marketing plans and executions for all Unilever brands across Walmart and the Club Channel. Prior to Geometry Global, Sloan spent nearly ten years at Catapult, where he served as the President and General Manager of Shopper Marketing, supporting a wide range of clients across multiple Food and General Merchandise categories at Walmart and Sam’s Club. Sloan started his career as a customer marketing manager for General Mills and holds a BFA in Liberal Arts from the University of Mississippi, Oxford.
