The person who receives and makes decisions on partnerships, services and offerings related to the business needs of your social network. We refer to this person the ‘Key Decision Maker'

Are you a social network?

The Linqia Marketplace does not serve blogs, wikis and traditional websites. Social networks are purpose built technology platforms with social networking features such as member profiles, connection tools, messaging, forums, groups, recommendations and so on. In the event you are a community or group operating within an existing social network your registration will not be approved.

How are social networks approved?

Every social network registering to the Linqia Marketplace is verified either by the email address corresponding to the domain name of the social network or by manual checks performed by our team. Our team will also check that the account holder is indeed the key decision maker at the social networking site.

I do not have an email corresponding to the domain name of my social network. What options do I have?

In the event you do not have an email address corresponding to the domain name of your social network (i.e. name@socialnetwork.com) you can enter your desired email into the corresponding field.

How long will it take for my profile to be approved?

Our team will be alerted immediately of your registration and aim to verify your account the same day. In the case of public holidays or weekends, please allow up to 3 days to verify your account. If you have not received your verification email contact us.

What information do I need to provide and why?

We have attempted to keep the registration process as short and simple as possible. The information we need you to provide helps us match commercial partners who are relevant and interesting to you. You will be asked for your contact details such as name, company, address, phone number, email address as well as information describing your social network such as how many members you have, age and gender of your members, category, tags, short and long description. We will also request what type of opportunities you are looking to receive.

What will you do with this information?

The information you provide about your social network will be made public. Your contact information will be kept private and secure unless you choose to accept an opportunity from a commercial partner in which case your basic contact details will be revealed (Full Name, Company, Email and Telephone). We do not share any personal information with any third parties nor do we use any personal information for any purposes beyond those stated here.

What type of opportunities will I receive?

Opportunities may include content partnerships such as sponsored videos, photos, news and games, sponsorship of specific areas of your social network, affiliate deals, revenue share on applications and services, surveys, questionnaires, products, events and much more.

How are commercial partners approved?

We endeavor to maintain a high standard of opportunities you receive from commercial partners. The commercial partner is verified and approved within a criteria of being relevant and interesting. Our team has interviewed over 200 social networks and understands the needs and interests of these key decision makers.

How many opportunities will I receive?

Whilst our product is still in beta, our team aims to source at least 3-5 opportunities every month. As the marketplace grows we expect this number to increase.

When do I need to respond to an opportunity request?

We advise you respond to each opportunity as soon as you receive the notification. Some opportunities have a short expiry date in which case you will not be able to respond if the date has passed.

Does it cost me anything to receive and respond to opportunities?

The marketplace is free to social networks. Commercial partners pay a lead fee to send opportunities to you and in some cases Linqia receives a commission on revenue generated. This process maximizes quality and ensures the commercial partner values the messages sent to you.

How will I receive opportunities?

You will receive opportunities in your opportunity inbox within the Linqia Marketplace as well as a notification to your nominated email address.

How do I respond to opportunities?

You simply click on the link either in your opportunity inbox within the Linqia Marketplace or the link provided in the email sent to your nominated email address. After reviewing the opportunity you will either select ‘Interested’ or ‘Not interested’.

What happens when I decline an opportunity?

If you decline an opportunity you will be invited to provide brief feedback via a survey. This is not mandatory however we encourage you to respond to this survey which is both valuable to Linqia as well as the commercial partner. Your personal contact details or name will not be revealed by submitting this survey.

What happens if I don’t respond or the opportunity expires?

If you don’t respond to an opportunity, the status of the opportunity will be noted as expired. Whilst we encourage all social networks to respond to opportunities stating their interest, there are no consequences if you do not respond.

What if I want another person in my team to manage my account?

Currently, the system identifies you by your email. We will change this in future however in the meantime you will need to provide that person with your login details, and ask them to manage the account through your profile.
