We advocate meaningful, transparent, and authentic exchanges between our brand and agency customers and our network of influencers. We are committed to complying with the laws and regulations that govern the prevention of unfair, deceptive, and misleading marketing practices.

We strive to:

  • Promote consumer protection through the observation of the FTC’s Guide Concerning the Use of Endorsement and Testimonials in Advertising.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules of marketing practices.
  • Work with brands and agencies to ensure the authenticity of influencer programs.
  • Require the highest level of integrity among our influencers.
  • Lead by example and adhere to ethical standards.

FTC DISCLOSURE

Influencers working with Linqia are required to comply with FTC’s Guide Concerning the Use of Endorsement and Testimonials in Advertising. All Linqia influencers must clearly and appropriately disclose that their program stories and social posts are sponsored. Failure to comply results in removal from the program.

TRUST AND RESPECT

Linqia advocates trust and respect between our brand and agency customers and our network of influencers. We expect our influencers to communicate honest thoughts and opinions about their programs and trust that they will demonstrate a high level of professionalism by providing constructive feedback directly to the brand rather than speaking publicly.

Conversely, it’s important for brands and agencies to remember that our influencers have built their followings through a proven ability to inspire an emotional connection with their audience. Influencer marketing is most effective when influencers produce authentic content that does not stray from the natural style that made them popular in the first place. Brands that are too “hands on” run the risk of the content losing its authenticity, deeming it just as ineffective as traditional advertising.

PARTNERING WITH INTEGRITY

Linqia strives to partner with brands, agencies, and influencers of integrity. Our partners have pledged to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules concerning the prevention of unfair, deceptive, or misleading advertising and marketing practices. Linqia forbids all solicitations for clicks and visits, including personal requests and participation in “click-groups.” Inappropriate content or conduct will result in removal from the program.

Influencers who receive product samples or travel compensation are required to follow program instructions for the usage and trial of the product or experience. Influencers are prohibited from reselling or trading any products, services, or experiences received in their programs.
